Partners of the Americas to hold international convention in Guadalajara

Partners of the Americas, a non-profit organization that seeks to connect people and organizations across borders to serve and to change lives through lasting partnerships, will host its 2016 International Partnership Convention at Guadalajara’s Hotel Presidente Intercontinental from October 26-29.

Inspired by U.S. President John F. Kennedy in 1963, the organization maintains 120 volunteer chapters linked in 60 partnerships. Chapters in U.S. states form partnerships with others in countries or states in Latin America and the Caribbean. Each volunteer chapter is organized as a private, nonprofit institution with by-laws and regularly elected officers.

According to  Jesus Artemio Sandoval Corrales, president of the Jalisco-Oklahoma chapter, the event will attract around 400 participants from all regions of the American continent.
