New season of Live from the Met at Teatro Diana

The 2014-15 season of The Met: Live in HD will bring ten productions from the famed New York Metropolitan Opera to the Teatro Diana in Guadalajara.  

This is the ninth season of the series that brings live transmissions from the Metropolitan Opera stage to screens in more than 2,000 theaters in 66 countries. All productions will be shown live worldwide on Saturdays.

Ticket prices at the Diana range from 100 to 250 pesos.

The season opens with Verdi’s “Macbeth” on Saturday, October 11, noon. Says the Met: “Star soprano Anna Netrebko delivers her searing portrayal of Lady Macbeth, the mad and murderous mate of Željko Lučić’s doomed Macbeth, for the first time at the Met.”  The approximate running time is 3:15.
