Little Theatre gears up for Season 51

Season tickets for the 51st season of Lakeside Little Theatre (LLT) are available at the theatre box office on Tuesday and  Wednesday, September 8 and 9, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The cost is 1,100 pesos for the season’s six featured productions, plus other special benefits. 

Season tickets holders receive reserved seats at each of the shows, as well as annual LLT membership.

Other benefits include:

First priority for workshops and actors studio.

Attendance at special LLT  events.

Free members’ nights activities.

Attendance at the Saturday, September 19 annual season kick-off party. 

Season 51 playbill is packed with tempting offerings, which cost 200 pesos each for those without season tickets. Tickets for the always popular musical event will be 250 for non-season ticket holders. 

The season opens with the October 2-11 run of “Murder by Misadventure,” a mystery thriller by Edward Taylor. Debra Bowers is directing. 

November’s offering is “Stepping Out,” a comedy by Richard Harris directed by Ann Swiston. 

Neil Simon’s farce “Rumors” is on tap from December 4-13. The fast-moving action will be directed by Paul Kloegman. 

“Good People,” a drama by David Lindsay-Abairo, is slated for January 15-24, 2016, with Lynn Phelan taking the director’s chores. 

The delightful musical-comedy “Nunsense” returns for a third run on the LLT stage. The music was written by Dan Goggin. Barbara Clippinger will direct the nuns and put them through their paces. 

Wrapping Season 51 is “Other Desert Cities,” a drama by Robin Beistz. Russell Mack will direct the play from March 25-April 3.
