Worth it

No one can deny my bitching about the rotten weather (for us) a few weeks ago. The drippy, droopy and downright cold doesn’t do a lot for my personality (too many years growing up in it) but apparently it does a lot for bringing on spring with a vengeance.

Those extra drops of water combined with eventual sunshine have produced a breathtaking spring bloom. The roses have suddenly gone crazy and bougainvillea (yes, I know it’s just a weed but what a weed!) is putting out solid displays of magenta, hot pink, orange, red, white and purple.
Do take a little time away from the computer, television set, charity meetings and cellphone calls to just sit back and enjoy the view. It’ll remind you of why you are here.
