Due to a consular systems upgrade, consular operations at the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City and all nine consulates throughout Mexico (including the U.S. Consulate General in Guadalajara) will be closed to the public on Friday, August 7, and Monday, August 10.
Additionally, the Applicant Service Centers throughout Mexico will be closed from Friday, August 7, through Sunday, August 9.
Anyone who has an appointment scheduled for these dates will be contacted by the Applicant Service Center to reschedule. For any emergency travel, U.S. citizens should look at the instructions on requesting an emergency appointment at http://ow.ly/QcEpf.
