All those heavily into tattoos, or those interested in the culture surrounding the art, should make a bee line for Expo Tatuaje Internacional at the Calle 2 events center on Saturday, September 3 and Sunday, September 4, from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. each day.
This will be the 22nd edition of a festival that draws acclaimed tattoo artists from Mexico and abroad. This year’s invited artists come from Japan, Costa Rica and Germany.
Other activities include live music, a display of classic cars, and a parade of pin ups. Cost: 100 pesos. Calle 2 is at Avenida Parres Arias, corner of northern Periferico.
