Courtesy is a contagion that spreads on its own

Dear Sir,
Although there appear to be many more cars on the road every year, it seems to me that people are generally showing more courtesy to other drivers.

After three years of summers only, my wife and I moved here in 2010. Each year, I’ve observed that more people are willing to allow others to enter the line of traffic or to make a left turn at difficult intersections.
Courtesy is a contagion that spreads on its own, and a good thing that is. After all, we’re in this together.
The mordida is still alive and well at the Libramiento-Carretera intersection, though.
