The free weekly Tuesday operatic/music recitals at the majestic Teatro Degollado returned this week after a brief hiatus to make way for the May Cultural Festival.
Tapatio tenor Manuel Castillo was the featured singer, ably assisted by sopranos Jessica Vadney and Zaireli Rivera, baritone Pablo Atahualpa and Cliff Jackson on piano.
June 23 sees Konstantin Ziumbilov on violin and Lorenzo Sanchez on piano. Composers include Shostakovich, Lobato, Ravel and Saint-Saens. Performances start at 8 p.m. No tickets are sold. Just turn up.
