Jazz concert

The New York Jazz All Stars series, sponsored by the Universidad de Guadalajara in conjunction with Jazz at Lincoln Center, presents the Greg Gisbert Quartet. Gisbert, one of the leading trumpeters in the international jazz scene, performs frequently with Buddy Rich, Woody Herman, Gary Burton, the Mingus Epitaph and others.

Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra

Russian pianist Daniil Kharitonov joins JPO director Parisotto for the summer season finale.  Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92 will conclude the concert, following three more of the German master’s works: Egmont, Op. 84; Piano Concerto No. 5 in E flat (“Emperor”) and Coriolan Overture Op. 62.
