Modern dance festival begins Saturday

The 18th Onesimo Gonzalez Contemporary Dance Festival begins Saturday, October 15, with performances scheduled through October 23 at various venues. 

Both professional and amateur dance groups will share the stage during this festival.  All performances are free of charge.

Saturday, October 15: 8 p.m. (Teatro Degollado) The Toula Limnaios from Germany.

Sunday, October 16: 1 p.m. (Foro de Arte y Cultura) Catarina Carraso and Gaspar Moray from Spain.

Monday, October 17: 7 p.m. (Teatro Degollado) Kaisen Danza from Mexico City. (Larva) Pajaro de Nube from Jalisco.  8:30 p.m. (Foro de Arte y Cultura) Proyecto del Margin from Jalisco and Kaisen Danza from Mexico City.

Tuesday, October 18: 7 p.m. (Teatro Alarife Martin Casillas) En Ningunlugar from Queretero. 8:30 p.m. (Foro de Arte y Cultura) Motos Ninja from Mexico City.  

Wednesday, October 19: 8:30 p.m. (Foro de Arte y Cultura) Ana Karen Ibarra and Roberto Cabezas from Mexico and El Salvador. 

Thursday, October 20: 7 p.m. (Teatro Alarife Martin Casillas) Anzar Dance Company from Jalisco. 8:30 p.m. (Foro de Arte y Cultura) Quiatoro Monorriel from Hermosillo.

Friday, October 21: 8 p.m. (Foro de Arte y Cultura) Subterraneo Danza Contemporaeno from Tijuana.

Saturday, October 22: 8:30 p.m. (Foro de Arte y Cultura) Cronopio de Arte Escenico, Colectova Arte Distancia from Morelia.
