Ajijic Cultural Center showcases leading artists

Art lovers won’t want to miss Perspectivas de Ajijic, a collective show honoring 16 of the area’s most celebrated working artists, opening Saturday November 21, 5 to 8 p.m., at the Centro Cultural de Ajijic (CCA).

The exhibit showcases selected works by Juan Navarro, Efrén González, Antonio López Vega, Dionicio Morales, Antonio Cárdenas, Enrique Velázquez, Javier Zaragoza, Javier Ramos, Jesús López Vega, Víctor Romero, Daniel Palma, Estela Hidalgo, Xill Fessenden, Isidro Xilonxochitl, Bruno Mariscal and the late Anselmo Avalos.

Guests on hand for the kickoff cocktail reception will enjoy live music, introductions and tributes to each of the participating artists, and a unique opportunity to purchase choice examples of their works.

The collection will remain on display through December 3. Located on the north side of the town plaza, CCA is open weekdays 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., weekends until 5 p.m. or the close of special events.
