Open Circle

Victor Youcha will present “Physical and Spiritual Laws Are Inseparable” at Open Circle on Sunday, September 11, 10:30 a.m. in the garden of the Lake Chapala Society.

Youcha will talk about spiritual and physical laws of the universe, touching on the laws of karma, polarity (yin and yang), and others. These laws impact our lives whether we are aware of them or not. Understanding them can change our perspective and give us greater freedom and choice in life.

Youcha is a practicing chiropractor and acupuncturist, a graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic (NWCC). He trained with Chinese doctors in Minnesota and was a faculty member at NWCC and two acupuncture colleges. A Vietnam era veteran, he spent ten years training to be a shaman in the Lakota tradition and participated in several hundred sweat lodge ceremonies and nine vision quests. Discovering that the Lakota Medicine Man was not his path, he became a student of Eckankar, ancient teachings pertinent for today. Shamanic training convinced him that the spiritual aspects of our lives are connected to our health and existence.
