With the majestic backdrop of the Cathedral, the seventh annual homeless soccer tournament was held in downtown Guadalajara on Thursday, May 28 and Friday, May 29. The event is sponsored by the Street Soccer Organization and the Telmex Foundation and is designed to bring together people over the age of 15, who are homeless, suffer from addiction problems or belong to other vulnerable groups. The winners of the tournament will qualify for the next stage of the competition, with a chance to play in the finals in Amsterdam, Holland.
