Roll up, roll up: The circus is in town

Mexican circuses are being forced to eliminate animal acts from their shows as new bans on the use of wild beasts spread across the nation. Lakesiders may get their last chance to see tigers, dromedaries, a llama and star elephant Papaya do their tricks at Circo Unión, playing now through next weekend under the big top set up in the Tobolandia parking lot. Performances start at 6 and 8:30 p.m., with Saturday and Sunday matinees at noon and 4 p.m.
