Free breast cancer screenings

Free breast cancer screenings are available to all women aged between 40 and 70 at the Hospital General de Occidente in Guadalajara, as part of  Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  

Jalisco Health Department clinics have been able to carry out more than 140,500 mammograms during 2013 and 2014 thanks to the purchase of new digital technology, Health Secretary Jaime Agustin Gonzalez Alvarez said this week.
