Canadian ambassador to give talk at Lakeside

Canadian Ambassador Sara Hradecky will be at La Nueva Posada in Ajijic on Wednesday, February 20 to give her annual talk on bilateral relations and Canada’s activities in Mexico.

Also present will be Bill Crosbie, Canada’s first Assistant Deputy Minister of the Consular Services and Emergency Management Branch in North America. This branch was created in 2007 in light of the fact that with more Canadians traveling, living and working abroad, the demand for consular services was growing.

This free event will start at 3.30 p.m. and there will be a no-host bar open ahead of the speeches.
