Officials at the Chapala Ministerio Público (district attorney’s office) have reported the apparent suicide death of long-time lakeside resident Donald Lee Howse.
The body of the U.S. citizen, 53, was discovered Wednesday, March 27 at his home in an upper Ajijic gated community.
Close friends indicate that Howse was despondent over the recent loss of his beloved life partner Jim Hussin, who died of natural causes on February 26.
