The United States Consulate General in Guadalajara is seeking a U.S. citizen applicant for the consular agent position in Nuevo Vallarta, Jalisco.
The candidate must be a U.S. citizen, a year-round resident of either the municipalities of Puerto Vallarta or Bahia de Banderas – or prepared to re-locate there. All ordinarily resident applicants must have or be able to obtain the required work and/or residency permit to be eligible for consideration.
The selected candidate must demonstrate fluency in both English and Spanish.
The job involves 30 hours of work a week, with a starting salary and position grade to be confirmed by Washington D.C.
