Ensamble Vocal Universitario from the University of Guadalajara Music Department will appear at a gala concert scheduled for Thursday, May 29, 8 p.m. at the Centro Cultural de Ajijic (CCA). The acclaimed choral group performs a capella, tapping on a diverse repertoire that ranges from popular songs of Latin America and Mexico to classical compositions and sacred music.
The event is programmed in conjunction with the kick-off of a fund-raising campaign to support the purchase a piano for the CCA. Admission is open to the public free of charge.
