The U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara is reporting that the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs is currently experiencing technical problems with visa systems and that passport applications accepted overseas between May 26 and June 14 are also affected by technical problems.

The third edition of the Copa de Amistad Canada-Mexico 8-Ball Pool Tournament had unexpected winners – the Guadalajara Reporter team led by publishers Michael Forbes and Sean Godfrey. Teams participated from government organizations, private companies and the Canadian Consulate. The tournament celebrated 70 successful years of diplomatic relations between Canada and Mexico.
