Saturday, June 11 sees the Marcha del Orgullo Guadalajara – the nation’s second biggest LGBT parade after the one held in the capital later this month.
The colorful march will start at 3 p.m. from the Minerva Glorieta and make its way to the Plaza de la Liberation in the historic center of the city. Around 25,000 participants are expected.
Three feminist groups have promised their support this year for the first time: Mujeres de Jalisco, Observatorio de Alerta de Violencia contra las Mujeres de Jalisco, and Mujeres Líderes en Progreso.
