For the past 24 years, the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) Guadalajara Chapter has been providing uniforms, shoes and school supplies to needy children in Chapala.
This year they donated sweaters and paid the school registrations for 30 children at three primary schools and one high school. On October 16 DAR members met with the children, parents and school officials and were touched by the gratitude expressed.
