LLT to present Ralph Fiennes in National Theatre Live

The next special summer event at the Lakeside Little Theatre is the Saturday and Sunday, August 15 and 16, 3 p.m. National Theatre Live (NL) high definition screenings of Bernard Shaw’s “Man + Superman” featuring Academy Award nominee Ralph Fiennes.

Fiennes (“The English Patient,” “Schindler’s List” and “Oedipus at the National Theatre”) plays Jack Tanner in the exhilarating reinvention of Shaw’s witty and provocative classic. “Man + Superman,” in parts romantic comedy, epic fairytale, and fiery philosophical debate, asks fundamental questions about how we live.

The high definition screening is 210 minutes long; there will be an intermission at both showings.

Choose and reserve your seat at the LLT ticket box from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, August 3, Tuesday, August 4; Monday, August 10 or Tuesday, August 11. Tickets not purchased during those times will be sold at the door, starting one hour before show time.

The Angel Terrace Bar will be open for socializing for one hour before the presentation and during the intermission.
