The Zapopan municipal government has signed a deal with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to create a seed fund worth just under 2.5 million pesos for businesses in Jalisco.
The aim of the agreement is to promote and support local businesses and stimulate innovation through research projects. Zapopan Mayor Hector Robles Peiro signed the deal this week with Griselda Gomez, a spokeswoman for MIT in Mexico.
