Skateboarding is an increasingly popular pastime among young people in Guadalajara, but until now it had never been prioritized by the public programs that aim to promote local youth sports.
Only now are municipal authorities beginning to invest in skating infrastructure in the metropolitan area, so that skaters have an alternative to using public places to show off their skills.
