Renowned composer and musician Jose Pablo Moncayo Garcia has become the latest person to earn a place in the Rotunda of Illustrious Jalisco Citizens. Born in Guadalajara in 1912, Moncayo is best known as the author of the classical piece “Huapango.” He died in 1958.
