Jalisco public school students go back to class in style

The Jalisco government will distribute school supplies to almost 1.5 million students for the coming academic year.
At present, all but ten of Jalisco’s 125 municipalities have asked to be included in the “Mochilas con los Utiles” (Backpacks with Supplies) project that is aimed exclusively at students attending public kindergarden, primary and secondary schools. The government has earmarked 100 million pesos (8 million dollars) for the project.
