Chapala cops get training to sharpen performance skills

The men and women of Chapala’s municipal police force are becoming mentally equipped to better serve the public through specialized training courses programmed during their off-duty hours.
Officers spent four hours in the classroom on July 24 as Sergio Mariano Estrada from the Jalisco Human Rights Commission guided them through the web of constitutional guarantees, fundamental rights and legislative obligations they must adhere to in the line of duty.
